General Information

Most SNP (Most Slovenského národného povstania) is a bridge in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was built from 1967-1972, it stretches across the Danube River. The bridge is commonly referred to by locals as the ‘New Bridge’. It is a cable-stayed bridge that has a length of 430.8 metres. The bridge has a UFO-like structure on top of its 84-metre tall pylon that is used as an observation deck and restaurant. The bridge is open to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Getting there

Take the bus or the tram to the ‘Most SNP’ stop, the 4 and 6 trams stop there and the 29, 133 and N33 buses also stop there.

Opening Times and Admission

You can see the bridge from different parts of the city, just head riverside. You can visit the bridges restaurant or observation deck daily, the observation deck is open 10am-11pm and the restaurant is open 12pm-11pm. Admission to the observation deck is set at 7.40 euros. It is advised to book in advance if you want to eat at the restaurant.
