General Information

Montreal Botanical Garden is a botanical garden located in Montreal, Canada. The garden was founded in 1936 by Frère Marie-Victorin. It is a popular oasis in the city. It covers 190 acres of land that is full of thriving colourful plant life. There are around 22,000 different species of plant situated at the garden. As well as being a place to relax and enjoy it is also a great place to learn about different plant species.

Getting there

The garden is situated in the north of the city centre. Take the metro to the ‘Pie-IX’ stop, which is situated by the garden.

Opening Times and Admission

The garden is open to visitors daily, 9am-6pm on weekdays and 9am-7pm on weekends.

Awesome environment. Great place to walk around and enjoy nature. As someone who's green fingered i visit yearly. I love the bonsai section of the park, the Chinese garden is the place. I find its better to arrive early in the morning because after noon it can get quite busy.

Situated close to my place of employment. So I like to go here a few times a year to clear my head and have a walk around. Well kept and some friendly employee's.
