General Information

The Miami Seaquarium is an oceanarium situated in Miami, USA. The oceanarium covers 38 acres of land and is one the oldest of its kind in the United States, it opened in 1955. It is owned by Palace Entertainment. It houses marine mammals as well as fish, sharks, sea turtles, birds, reptiles, and manatees. Miami Seaquarium puts on daily presentations with its sea life and tries to educate on the subject. It is the home of one of the oldest orcas in captivity, Lolita.

Getting there

The oceanarium is situated on Virginia Key. If travelling by car, there is onsite parking available to visitors. The 102 bus service travels to the oceanarium.

Opening Times and Admission

The oceanarium is open daily, 10am-6pm. General admission to the oceanarium is $46.99. There are various packages available at the oceanarium which allow you to swim with some of the sea life. It is advised that these packages need to be booked in advance.
