Mercado Central de Atarazanas (Atarazanas Market) is a market in the Spanish city of Malaga. The markets origins date back to the 19th century when the market was built on its current location to replace a previous building of which only the horseshoe entrance that you see today remains of the old building. The market is a great place to experience trade in the city of Malaga. The market has many stalls that sell an array of fresh food amongst other items. The market is known as the half-day market, it is only open from 8am-2pm Monday to Saturday. Entry to the market is free to all.
