General Information
The MBK Center is a large shopping and entertainment complex in Bangkok, Thailand. The shopping and entertainment complex opened in 1985, it is eight stories in height and when it opened it was the largest shopping complex in Asia. The complex has around 2000 shops, restaurants and service outlets. Its biggest shop is the 4 storey Tokyu department store. Most of the MBK Center stores sell authentic products. The shopping and entertainment complex is a popular place in the city of Bangkok, both with locals and tourists.
Getting there
Public transport links to the complex are good. If travelling on the underground, take the ‘Silom’ line to ‘Siam’ station which is a couple of minutes walk away from the complex. The complex has its own bus stop, the 21, 25, 29, 34, 36, 40, 47, 50, 93, 162 and 187 buses all stop there.
Opening Times and Admission
The complex is open daily, 10am-10pm.
