General Information
Marwell Zoo is a zoo situated close to Winchester in England. The zoo was established in 1972. It is owned by Marwell Wildlife and covers 140 acres of land. The zoo undertakes a range of educational and conservation activities, with a particular focus on Africa in addition to work from its base. The zoo is home to over 1500 animals that cover 135 different types of species. Animals at the zoo include Giraffes, Penguins and Rhinos.
Getting there
The zoo is situated to the south of Winchester. The best way to get there is by car, with onsite parking available to visitors.
Opening Times and Admission
The zoo is open 10am-5pm on weekdays and 10am-6pm on weekends. Tickets cost £19 for adults and £15 for children.
