General Information
Margaret Island is an island situated in the middle of the Danube river in Budapest, Hungary. The island covers 283 acres of land of which are mainly used for recreational purposes, as it houses landscaped parks. The island is a great way to escape everyday life in the city of Budapest and has lots of picturesque scenery. The island contains fountains, large green and sports area.
Getting there
The island is situated right in the middle of the river that runs through Budapest, the only way to access it is either by boat or by travelling onto one of the bridges and using the access points from there.
Opening Times and Admission
The island is a public area so is open to the public at all hours every day.
