General Information

Mar Menor is a coastal seawater lagoon near Murcia, Spain. It is known for its clear water which has a depth of 7 metres. The lagoon is the largest in Spain and is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a sandbar. Mar Menor is a beautiful natural spot, over the years it has become popular with people enjoying water sports such as fishing.

Getting there

The lagoon is situated south-east of Murcia. It is situated close to San Javier Airport. The 63 and 64 buses stop close to the lagoon.

The lagoon can be accessed from multiple points, it is free to access at any time of any day.
