General Information
Lumpini Park is a park that is situated in Bangkok, Thailand. The park covers 142 acres of land and includes an artificial lake, playgrounds, wooded areas and large areas of open space. The park was created in 1925. Today, the park offers rare open space in the city, the open space is connected by a couple of kilometres of paths that are popular with joggers. The park is used for events, such as concerts. It is a popular location in the city for people who want to relax outdoors.
Getting there
The 4, 13, 14, 15, 17, 22, 45, 46, 47, 50, 62, 67, 74, 76, 77, 89, 109, 115, 116, 141, 149, 164, 173, 505, 507, 514, and 544 buses all travel to the park from various different locations in the city. The park also has its own metro station ‘Lumpini’ on the MRT_BLL line.
Opening Times and Admission
The park is open from 4.30am-9.30pm daily. It is free to access to the public.
