Ludwigsburg Palace is a palace complex situated near Stuttgart, Germany. The complex was built in the early 18th century, it was commissioned by Eberhard Louis. It is a 79-acre complex that includes a 452 roomed palace that has previously served as the residence of the Württemberg's monarchs. The palace has four different wings that have been used for various purposes, they are a mixture of Baroque, Neoclassical, Rococo and Empire architectural styles. The palace, since 1918 has been open for the public to tour to learn about the building and the House of Wurttemberg.
The palace is situated in Ludwigsburg to the north of Stuttgart. You can get there by bus, take the 421, 427, 430, 443 or 444 buses.
Opening Times and Admission
The palace is open to visitors daily, 10am-5pm. Admission is set at 7 euros for adults and 3.50 euros for concessions.
