Lotrscak Tower in the Croatian capital City of Zagreb is a fortified tower, which was built in the 13th century. The tower was built to guard the southern gate of the Gradac Town wall. The tower has a cannon placed on the top floor of the tower which is fired at midday every day and has been since the 19th century as it was used to signal midday to the town's bell ringers.
The tower is situated in the Gradac area of the City of Zagreb, this is accessible by the city's tram system and is within walking distance of most of Zagreb’s major transport stations.
Opening Times and Admission
The tower is open to visitors to climb, it is open from the hours of 9 am to 9 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 9 pm on the weekend. Entrance is priced at 20KN for adults and 10KN for concessions.
