General Information

Ljubljanica is a river that runs through the Slovenian city of Ljubljana. The river runs for around 25 miles. It is known for passing through the capital city and for some of its picturesque river banks and its architecturally beautiful bridges. Some of the rivers banks were designed by architect Joze Plecnik, which includes the well known weeping willow-lined terraced walk alongside the Trnovski pristan embankment.

Getting there

The river runs through the city centre, you can get to the river at many points.

Opening Times and Admission

You can see the river from various points of the city, many cafes and restaurants are situated near the river providing a scenic spot to relax.
