General Information
Linnanmaki is an amusement park situated in the Finnish capital city, Helsinki. The park was opened in 1950, it is owned by a charity ‘Lasten Päivän Säätiö’ which operates the park in order to raise funds for child welfare work. The park has 40+ rides with seven of them being rollercoasters and one being water based. It is the most popular amusement park in Finland and offers a fun packed day out for all of the family.
Getting there
The amusement park is situated just to the north of the city centre. The 1 and 8 trams travel to the park stopping at ‘Borgbacken’. The 70, 502, 637, 643, 644 and 662 buses all stop close to the amusement park.
Opening Times and Admission
The amusement park is only open in the warmer months, April to October. Entry to the amusement park is free but to go on the rides you must have a ride ticket.
