Knowsley Safari Park is a zoological park in the Knowsley area of Merseyside, England. It is a former airfield/green area that is the home of 700+ animals. It is also an attraction for tourists who can drive along its paths and through different themed zones containing animals. The park is a contributor to animal conservation and research.
The aim of the park is to travel through it in a vehicle, so travelling by car is the most popular option for getting to the park. By car, use the M62 and get onto the M57 and exit at junction 2 and follow the signs for the safari park. The park isn't just exclusive to people who have vehicles, you can still attend without, travel to ‘Prescot’ train and bus stations which are a short walk away.
Opening Times and Admission
The safari is open daily, 10am-4.30pm. Access to the park is priced at £17.50 for adults and £13.50 for children. You can get discount if you book online.
