Killesberg Tower is an observation tower located in Stuttgart, Germany. The tower stands at a height of 40 metres. It is a cable-stayed tower that is complemented by a central mast and a staircase that leads people up to its four viewing platforms that offer elevated views over Stuttgart. It was originally planned to be built for the 1993 World Horticultural Exposition but after some problems with raising funds, it wasn’t built until 2001.
The tower is situated in Perkins Park. You can get there by taking the U-Bahn to ‘Killesberg’, which is served by the U5 line and is a 5-minute walk away from the tower. The 43 bus travels to the park in which the tower is situated.
Opening Times and Admission
The park in which the tower is situated is open daily from 7 am till nightfall. The park and tower are free to use although a voluntary donation is welcomed for using the tower.
