The Jubilee Synagogue, also known as the Jerusalem synagogue is a Jewish place of worship situated in Prague, Czech Republic. It is also referred to as Jerusalem Synagogue because of its location on Jerusalem Street. The synagogue was opened in 1906, it has an eye-catching Moorish Revival design with an Art Nouveau outer styling. It was named after Emperor of Jubilee Franz Joseph I of Austria. The synagogue hasn't always allowed in outside visitors with it only being open to the public since 2008, its interior is as impressive as its exterior.
The synagogue is accessible through the transport network of the city. It is situated close to the main railway and metro station ‘Praha hlavní nádraží’
Opening Times and Admission
The synagogue is open daily, 10am-5pm. Admission to the synagogue comes at a cost of 80CZK for adults and 50CZK for concessions.
