John Hancock Center (875 North Michigan Avenue) is a skyscraper in the city of Chicago, USA. The skyscraper opened in 1969, it was designed by Bruce Graham and Fazlur Rahman Khan. The huge building stands at a height of 343.7 metres. The building gets its name from an original tenant of the building John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance. The skyscraper is used for multiple purposes such as office space and living space. It also has an observation deck that offers elevated views over Chicago and beyond.
The ‘Chicago’ metro stop is a short walk away from the skyscraper. The 143, 146, 147 and 148 buses all stop close to the skyscraper.
Opening Times and Admission
The observation deck at the skyscraper is open daily, 9am-11pm. Admission is set at 22$ for adults and 15$ for children.
