General Information
The Jardins do Palácio de Cristal is a botanical garden in the city of Porto, Portugal. The garden dates back to the 19th century and covers 8 hectares of land. The garden is one of Porto's most loved escapes. Its beautiful landscape makes for a peaceful few hours surrounded by nature. The garden consists of lawns that are dissected with paths and has fountains, sculptures and giant magnolias, camellias, cypress and olive trees dotted around its grounds. The garden also offers up fantastic views of the city and the River Douro.
Getting there
The best way to get to the garden is by bus, the 200, 201, 207, 208, 303 and 501 all stop close to the entrance of the garden.
Opening Times and Admission
The garden is open daily, April to September 8am-9pm and October to March 8am-7pm. Admission to the garden is free to all.
