General Information
Jane Austen Centre is a museum situated in Bath, England. The museum is dedicated to Jane Austen and tells the story of her time living in Bath and how it affected her and her writing. The museum is housed in a Grade II listed building in the city. As well as displaying items that relate to Austen’s writing and wider life, the museum also displays a lifelike waxwork of Jane Austen.
Getting there
The museum is a 15-20 minute walk away from the city’s train station. You can take the 716 bus that stops at ‘Queen Square’ which is a short walk away from the museum.
Opening Times and Admission
From April to October the museum is open daily 9.45pm-5.30pm and from November to March, it is open daily 10am-4pm. Admission is set at £12 for adults and £6.20 for children.
