Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is an art gallery and museum situated in Coventry, England. The gallery and museum were established in 1960 and are named after Sir Alfred Herbert who was a philanthropist and industrialist from Coventry. The gallery displays Old Masters art including paintings and sculptures and the museum displays items relating to the history of Coventry. The gallery and museum are recognised as family friendly with something for everyone.
The museum and art gallery are situated in the city centre. They are around a 15-20 minute walk away from ‘Coventry’ train station. The 1, 8 and 9 buses stop close by.
Opening Times and Admission
Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is open from 10am-4pm daily except for Sundays when it opens later at 12 pm. Admission is free.
