General Information
Granville Island is an island in Vancouver, Canada. It was formerly the home of many mills and factories but in recent decades has been converted into a hub where people come to socialise. It has a hugely popular market that sells fresh food and crafts. It is also filled with other cultural places such as theatres, artisan workshops and studios.
Getting there
The island is situated in the city centre of Vancouver. You can get to the island by taking the 23 or 50 buses which stop by the island.
Opening Times and Admission
Granville Island is a public place, you can visit the island at any hour of any day; although many of its buildings operate on opening schedules.
Nice place to eat and socialise with friends. Place to eat if you want to support local vendors/small businesses.
