Girona City Walls are a set of fortified city walls situated in Girona, Spain. The walls were built in the medieval period to protect the city from any attacks that may have come. The walls did their job and survived and have been well kept over the centuries since. The walls stretch along the western side of the city, they are a popular walk for locals and tourists as they offer stunning panoramic views over the city.
There are three places to access the walls, either at the Placa Catalunya, the University of Girona Campus Barri Vell or beside the Cathedral.
