General Information
Gas Works Park is a public park situated in Seattle, USA. The park covers 19 acres of land and opened to the public in 1975. The park is situated on land that was formerly part of a Gas Works which operated from 1906 to 1956, hence the parks name. The park was designed by Seattle landscape architect Richard Haag, the park is a relaxing green space that incorporates its past as a gas works.
Getting there
The best way to get to the park is by car, with onsite parking available. The 31 and 32 buses stop close by to the park.
Opening Times and Admission
The park is a public park, it is free for people to visit. The park opens at 6 am and closes at 10 pm.
