The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial is a memorial that is dedicated to the memory of Franklin Delano Roosevelt who was the 32nd president of the United States, it is situated in Washington, USA. The memorial was designed by landscape architect Lawrence Halprin, it consists of four outdoor rooms which portray Roosevelt's time in office, with the rooms containing sculptures and statues. The memorial was also designed with accessibility in mind for all disabilities due to the president it remembers also having disabilities. The memorial was opened in 1997.
If travelling by car the closest parking is on West Basin Drive, on Ohio Drive SW. If travelling by subway head for the National Mall stops, the memorial is a short walk from there; it is situated by the Tidal Basin.
