Fort Antoine Theatre is a theatre situated in the Monaco-Ville area of Monaco. The theatre stands on the ground of a former fortress that was demolished in 1944. Shortly after the demolishment of the fortress Prince Rainier III had the fortress rebuilt as a small amphitheatre with a military feel. The theatre is used in the summer months when the weather is more consistently pleasant, the theatre hosts small shows. The theatre featured in a James Bond movie.
If travelling by car, park up at ‘Parking du Chemin des Pêcheurs’ which is a 2-minute walk away. The theatre is a 20-minute walk away from the main station of Monaco.

The best way to see the amphitheatre is by attending a show, shows are listed on the theatre's website. If the shows are not for you then you can still visit the theatre for a look around, which is usually free.
