Folkets Park is a recreational park in Malmo, Sweden. The park opened in 1891 and covers 6 acres of land. The park was renovated in the 90s after it had become a slum, the renovations have revived the park and made it back into the most popular park in the city. There is always something going on in the park with it having some permanent features such as the wading pool in the summer and an ice rink in the winter. The park also hosts musical and theatrical events. The park is the place in the city to enjoy a day out with family, with many play parks for children but also many open spaces to relax in.
