General Information
Episcopal Palace of Murcia is a palace located in the city of Murcia, Spain. It is an 18th century Rococo building that is distinctive due to its outer red facade. It was built to house the local bishop at the time of its opening (Bishop Mateo). The palaces grand staircase and patio are points of interest at this sizable Spanish palace.
Getting there
Situated close to the cathedral in the city centre, the palace is accessible on foot from most parts of Murcia city centre. The R14 and R80 buses stop a short walk away.
Opening Times and Admission
The palace is open to visitors Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm and 5pm-8pm.
