Epcot is a theme park that is located at Walt Disney World in Orlando, USA. The theme park opened in 1982 and is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company. Epcot was the second of four theme parks built at Walt Disney World Orlando, it covers 305 acres of land. Its theme is human achievement. The theme park is split into two sections, Future World and World Showcase. Future World shows how the world is advancing with technology and World Showcase replicates different areas of the world with streetscapes, shops and restaurants. The theme park is one of the most visited in the world.
The best way to get to the Epcot is by driving to the Walt Disney World complex and parking at one of the onsite car parks and hopping on the monorail to ‘Epcot’.
Opening Times and Admission
The theme park is open seven days a week, 9am-9.30pm. You can only visit Epcot if you have a ticket for the Walt Disney World complex. Ticket prices vary depending on the package that best fits your needs but tickets are usually upwards of 100$ and are best booked online.
