General Information

Dodger Stadium is a baseball park that is the home of the LA Dodgers Major League baseball franchise, it is situated in the Elysian Park area of Los Angeles, USA. The stadium opened on 10 April 1962 and is the largest capacity baseball stadium in the USA in terms of seats, with a capacity of 56,000. It is the third oldest major league baseball stadium and over the years has hosted some of the most important matches. It has earned the nickname of “pitcher’s ballpark” due to some of the low scores achieved by the pitcher’s.

Getting there

If travelling by car, the local freeways provide easy access to the stadium; there is plenty of parking available around the stadium. The stadium is also accessible by the local bus network and metro rail.

Opening Times and Admission

The Dodgers play in the Major League which is a seasonal league consisting of weekly matches. The best way to visit the stadium is by attending a match, ticket prices vary depending on how close to the action you want to be. The cheap seats are set at 35$ and the most expensive are 950$.

American sports seems so expensive. Think we paid 100$ each to watch a game here, was my first baseball match and probably last. The stadium and service were pretty good though.
