General Information

Culloden Battlefield is an exhibition in Inverness, Scotland. It is located and based on the site of the final battle of the Jacobite Rising. The battle was between Jacobite supporters and the Duke of Cumberland's government troops, it was a battle where thousands of men died. The battle is told in the visitor centre at the Culloden Battlefield with interactive displays prompting thought on what the actual battlefield outside would have been like.

Getting there

The exhibition is situated east of the city centre. If travelling by car, there is on-site parking available to visitors. By bus, take the 5 bus that travels to the exhibition centre from the city.

Opening Times and Admission

The exhibition centre is open to visitors daily, 9am-6pm in the summer months and 10am-4pm in the winter months. Admission is set at £11 for adults and £9.50 for concessions.
