General Information

Crown Melbourne is a multipurpose complex situated in the Australian city, Melbourne. The complex which is mainly hotels and casinos was opened on its current site in 1997. The complex is owned by Crown Resorts. The complex contains hotels with around 1600 rooms available to visitors. The complex also contains multiple casinos, which makes it the largest casino complex in the southern hemisphere. As well as hotels and casino the complex also has multiple shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and a 2,200 seater palladium. The complex is a popular area with both locals and tourists.

Getting there

The complex is situated in the Southbank precinct in Melbourne. The best way to get to the complex is by tram, the 12, 96 and 109 all stop at the complex. The 216, 219, 220, 234, 236 and 605 buses all stop in the area.

Opening Times and Admission

Parts of the complex are off limits to the public and can only be used by guests of the hotel. However, most of the complex does welcome in the public, such as the casinos, bars, restaurants, shops and nightclubs.
