Cite du Vin is a wine museum in Bordeaux, France. The museum was opened in 2016 in a new purpose built building. The museum has over 10 levels telling the history of wine and the culture around the drink. The museum is modern and incorporates modern technology into the experience with soundscapes and related films beamed out around the museum. The museums content was created by many experts, it is a wine lovers dream. Its content not only delves into the local wine history but the history of wine around the world.
The museum has its own tram stop ‘Cite du Vin’ on the B line. You can also get to the museum on the 7 and 32 buses.
Opening Times and Admission
The museum is open seven days a week, weekdays 10am-6pm and weekends 10am-7pm. Adult tickets for the museum cost 20 euros and concessions cost 9 euros.
