General Information
CentralWorld is a multipurpose complex situated in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok. The complex includes one of the largest shopping plaza’s in the world, a hotel and an office tower. CentralWorld opened in 2006 after an expansion of a previous shopping mall on the site, it is owned by Central Pattana. The complex is modern, clean and spacy making for a pleasant shopping experience. The complex has a square which is known for hosting the New Years Celebration Event.
Getting there
The complex is quite simple to get to by public transport with plenty of choices available. By bus, take the 2, 13, 17, 54, 73, 77 or 79 which all stop outside the complex. The complex is also a short walk from the ‘Chit Lom’ underground station. The complex is also a short walk from ‘Ratchaprarop’ train station where many trains stop from all parts of the city and beyond. If travelling by car, there are 2000 onsite car spaces.
Opening Times and Admission
The buildings at the complex are open daily, 10am-10pm. The shopping complex is free to enter. The hotel and offices are restricted to guests and staff.
