General Information
Central Sofia Market Hall is a marketplace in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria. It houses a popular covered market. The marketplace was opened in 1911 after it was built to the Neo-Renaissance designs of architect Naum Torbov. The three-story market hall is a place to experience trade and culture in the city, its stall owners sell a mix of goods which includes fresh food, clothing, jewellery and other accessories.
Getting there
You can get to the market by taking the metro to ‘Serdika’ which is a short walk away, the M1 and M2 lines stop there.
Opening Times and Admission
The marketplace is open 7.30am-9pm daily. It is free to enter.
