Holding the title of Europe's largest market is Central Market in Riga, Latvia. The build of the market took six years from 1924 to 1930. The main structure of the market is five pavilion hangars reused after housing German Zeppelins and redecorated in an Art Deco and Neoclassical style, making them more welcoming to traders and shoppers.
