General Information
Casa Rosada is the official house of the government of Argentina, It is located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The building is where the main office of the President is located. Casa Rosada also contains a museum that is dedicated to former presidents of Argentina. It is a recognizable building with its pink facade, it was built in the second half of the 19th century to the designs of Henrik Aberg. It is a grand building with a high spec interior suitable for the high profile figures of Argentina that visit daily. The building is a National Historic Landmark.
Getting there
Take the metro to ‘Plaza de Mayo’ which is just by the building, the A line travels there. The 29A, 29C, 33, 56, 62 and 91 buses all stop close by to the building.
Opening Times and Admission
Free hour-long tours run at the building on weekends, in Spanish between 12pm-6pm and in English between 12.30pm-2.30pm. You will need to book a place on the tour in advance online.
