Calanques National Park is a national park located near Marseille, France. The park is fairly new, having been established in 2012. It covers 201 square miles of land which includes the Massif des Calanques and the local marine area. It is an untouched natural area of France that has some very picturesque settings with its many cliffs and small bays.
The park is situated south of Marseille. The best way to get to the park is by car. There are some tour companies that run day trips from Marseille to the park.
Opening Times and Admission
The park is largely unrestricted, you can visit at any hour of any day although due to terrain and remoteness it is best to visit in daylight and good weather.
