General Information

Bunker Hill Monument is a granite obelisk monument that is erected in Boston, USA. The monument which was erected between the years 1825 to 1843 was built to commemorate the Battle of Bunker Hill which was one of the first major battles between Patriots and British forces in the American Revolutionary War, the battle was fought on June 17th,1775. The granite obelisk stands at 221 ft in height.  

Getting there

The 83, 89 and 89 buses travel to the monument stopping on Bunker Hill St. The subway system also provides access to Bunker Hill.

Opening Times and Admission

You can visit the monument and can walk around it for free at any time of the day, there's also a chance to go up the monument when it is open but this may cost.
