Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery is a museum and art gallery situated in Bristol, England. The museum was established in 1823 and its Grade II building is one of Edwardian Baroque architecture. The museum is run by Bristol City Council. The museum includes sections on natural history as well as archaeology. Its art gallery has a large array of art from various periods and many famous artists.

Getting there

The museum is situated in Clifton, just outside the city centre. By bus, take the 1, 2, 3, 4 or U1 buses to ‘Park Street Top’ which is a short walk away. If travelling by car, park at ‘West End Car Park’ which is a few minutes walk away from the museum.

Opening Times and Admission

The museum is open six days of the week, Tuesday to Sunday 10am-5pm. The museum is free to all.
