Bratislava Castle is a castle in the Slovakian capital city, Bratislava. The castle stands on a hill in the centre of the city. It was originally built in the 9th century but after falling to ruin it was rebuilt in the years 1956-64. The castle was built to its last state, it is a rectangular Baroque building with a tower built in each corner. The castle has always been a key part of the city and the country as it was used by past monarchs and is, therefore, a landmark of the city and of the country. Today, the building is used for multiple purposes such as a museum and a venue for musical events.
The castle is situated on a hill in the city centre. Many buses stop at the bottom of the hill such as the 29, 133 and N33.

The castle is open to visitors six days of the week, Tuesday to Sunday 10am-6pm.
