General Information

The Bois de la Cambre is a large urban public park situated in Brussels, Belgium. The park was created in 1866 and covers 302 acres of land. It is a large green space on the edge of the Sonion Forest. One of the parks main features in the small lake that has an island known as Robinsons Island; it is advised not to swim in the lake. The park is an ideal spot for a picnic or a relaxing stroll with its large grassy areas dissected by paths.

Getting there

The park is situated to the south of the city centre. The 123, 136, 137 and 365 buses all travel to the park.

Opening Times and Admission

The park is a public park, it is free to enter at any time of any day throughout the year.
