General Information
The Berlin Wall Memorial, known locally as ‘Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer’ is a memorial in Berlin, Germany. The memorial commemorates the people that died there and the division the wall caused in Berlin and further afield. The memorial contains a 200 ft section of the wall, a chapel of reconciliation, a window of remembrance and a visitor centre.
Getting there
To get to the memorial take the 245 or 247 bus. Alternatively, if travelling by U-Bahn take the U6 to ‘Naturkundemuseum’ or U8 to ‘Bernauer Straße’.
Opening Times and Admission
Admission to the memorial is free and the visitor centre is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am-6pm.
