Auckland Botanic Gardens are botanical gardens situated in Auckland, New Zealand. The gardens opened to the public in 1982. They cover around 160 acres of land. The gardens are home to around 10,000 plant species that are all grouped into themed gardens. Many of the plant species are native to New Zealand but there are also plants from around the world.
