The Arc de Triomf is a triumphal arch in Barcelona, Spain. The red-bricked arch was built in 1888 to the design of architect Josep Vilaseca I Casanovas. Its purpose was to be the main access gate for the World Fair in 1888. The arch contains a lot of detail with stone sculptures decorating both sides.
By metro, use line 1 and get off at ‘Arc de Triomf’. The 39, 40, 42, 51, B20, B25 and H16 buses all travel close to the arch.

The arch is situated in a public area, you can visit it on any day and at any time.
