Anglesey Abbey is a country house situated near Cambridge, England. The country house was formerly a priory which is thought to have dated back to the 12th century since then it has had many different owners and the building itself has changed somewhat over the years. The country house is on a 98-acre estate which includes beautifully landscaped gardens dissected by walking paths. The country house and its gardens provide a beautiful setting and it is a great place to explore both the house with its wonderful furnishings and also the extensive gardens.
Anglesey Abbey is situated in Lode which is to the east of Cambridge. If travelling by car, there is onsite parking available to visitors. The 11 bus also stops close to the country house.
Opening Times and Admission
The country house and gardens are open to visitors daily, 10am-4pm. Admission is set at £15 for adults and £8 for children.
