The market is one of Adelaide's most famous landmarks and is well known for its welcoming atmosphere. The market has over 80 stalls that are all managed by the Adelaide Central Market Authority.

Getting there

The market is a 15-20 minute walk away from Adelaide Train Station. The G10, G20, G21, G22 and G30 buses all stop at the market.

Opening Times and Admission

The market operates on five days of the week, Tuesday 7am-5.30pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-5.30pm, Friday 7am-9pm and Saturday 7am-3pm. The market is free to enter.
