General Information

Abenobashi Terminal Building is a multipurpose building complex that includes a skyscraper, it is situated in Osaka, Japan. The complex was built from 1992 to 2014. It is a huge structure that consists of a glass facade. The New Annex of the building consists of a train station and a department store. Its Eastern Annexes consists of a hotel and its skyscraper which is known as the ‘Abeno Harukas’ stands at 300 metres making it one of the tallest buildings in Japan. It is used for multiple things such as offices, hotels and an observation deck. The building is a modern development in the area it resides and has increased employment. 

Getting there

The building complex is situated in the Abeno Ward of the city of Osaka. The closest subway station to the building is ‘Tennoji’ station.

Opening Times and Admission

Most of the buildings at the complex are open to the public except for most of the skyscraper. The shopping complex is open at the usual retail hours. The observation deck at the complex is open 9am-10pm daily, it is very popular due to it being at the top of one of Japan's tallest buildings. Tickets to the observation deck cost 1500yen and can be bought on the day or in advance.
