Art Gallery of Ontario is an art museum that was established in 1900 in Toronto, Canada. Since 1974 the building has had several expansions with the most recent being in 2012, all designed by notable architects. The museum has expanded due to its large collection of 90,000 works dating from the first century to the present day. The museum has the largest collection of Canadian art in the world, as well as European and African art, art from the Baroque and Renaissance eras and modern and contemporary art. The museum also holds a number of significant sculptures.
If travelling by car, be aware that parking in the area is pretty limited. The best option is to use public transport, with the closest metro stop being ‘St. Patrick’ on the Yonge-University line. The 510 and 505 buses travel close to the museum.

The museum is open six days a week, Tuesday to Sunday 10:30am-5pm except for Wednesdays and Fridays when the museum closes later at 9 pm. The museum's admission prices are set at 19.50$ for adults and 11$ for concessions.
